The sweeping Festival Grounds serve many purposes. For much of the year they serve as practice grounds for training knights, for the games of children who pick up ball, bat, and begin a game of stickball. During other times, they're filled with colored tents, with performers for some of Alexandria's many festivals.
Along one side are a set of permanent bleachers, and at either end an archway. Each archway is carved in the style of a grand entry and marked with images of of Daeus, with rearing horse and flying pennon. Here, the god stands depicted in his roles of defender and knight-warrior. Recently, the Lancers of Serriel have taken to practicing here, along the knights and warriors of other orders, and a small number of them take a select pride in the upkeep of the grounds, alongside the Daeusites, Navosians, Gileans, and other mixtures.
Littering the grounds are places for archery, target practice. Here too, scheduled a few times a month, is the space given for ridden sport, organized recently by the arvek nar. The reigning champion's name is displayed in an upright lance at the end of the field, a silent challenge for next month's contender.

- Festival Grounds, Midday
The Festival grounds that host most competitions finds itself in an odd sort of circumstance on their fair weather day. Passing through from the western gate and making a day stop is that of five wagon strong caravan of esoteric traders and nomads. They've got stands propped open, lavish textiles swooping in arcs and incense wafting in lazy trails.
Curious questions of where they've come from yields different answers. Myrrish Kingdoms, Desolation, Charn, The Vast, Veshyan. Never the same place.
The locals are drawn in, curious of the curios and pondering of the products, weary of the wares but interested none the less. The largest source of entertainment seems to be a older crone of a gnome propped up high and a pyramid of books, eyebrows sagging so much their eyes can't be seen. They're over a crystal, the incense heavy as they waft their hands over the glowing orb. They're just finishing up with a young teenage boy, giving their last reading, a hand reaching down to a deck of cards and flipping over a picture of a slew of stars. "Ah... sonny, don't ya worry about yer troubles, it'll become clear soon enough!"
The boy rubs his neck, thanks them for their time, and leaves. As the crowd gabs amongst themselves of who should be next, the little old gnome shuffles her cards.
Drawn in by the colours, blown in by the wind, a black, white and bluejay egalrin is in the crowd. Loud and just a little bit shiny, he's wearing two pieces of a three piece suit, with a rapier and some silvery balls on his belt and carrying a briefcase.
"Hey! Hey!" He caws at the elderly gnome, "You should have a disclaimer! That the predictions are for entertainment purposes only. Otherwise, people might think you're cursing them. They might Sue! Sue!"
GAME: Crik rolls stealth: (14)+11: 25
Mikilos strolls idly, grey robes swishing along the cobbles as he walks the path, eyeing the gathering with idle curiousity. "That would assume the predictions are mere entertainment, and not backed by powerful forces beyond the limits of mortal time. Such a proclamation might annoy said forces, and that's seldom wise." The magus smiles. "Or it might just be a bit of fun. Hello Esquire, how have you been?"
Hop. Hop. Then calm, casual accusatory walk. That's how the the robed black egalrin trails on after Jay. Straightened up to his full height, the black crow looking fellow nearly looked like an attorney on the prowl with his hood knocked back. That is to say, not at all.
Still.
Black eyes peer curiously around Jay just a moment, before he suddenly throws after Jay with a deep resonant voice. "Sue!" He says - then adds along with the smartly dressed Jay, "Sue!"
Eyes go back towards those silvery balls on that belt.
Merek makes his way along, dark attire on with the beltcape which he wears along his waist. The man seems to be curious about the whole thing, and makes his way towards the fortune teller. He has a thick stubble and it looks like he's a little thin when compared to usual. He takes a moment to pull on the cavalier hat.
Dirk comes lumbering into the fairgrounds, looking around at all the exotic sights and sounds with a cheerful smile creasing his leathery features. His owl Lulu perches on his shoulder, her head twisting left and right as her wide golden eyes blink-blink. "Hoo!" Dirk chuckles deeply, nodding his head. "Aye, it -is- all interestin', innit?" he says. He spots some faces he knows and turns his steps in their direction. "Oy, Jay. All right?" he asks, tipping his tricorne in greeting. He glances over at the elderly gnome, then back to the legal eglarin. "Yer not out flingin' vexatious litigations about, are ye? Frivolous lawsuits are the mark of a poor lawsmith, ye know!"
The gnomish woman's head shifts ever so slightly from the bluejay's cawing. Uncertain if one could actually tell where she was looking, but she's got that grandma energy to her, paying full attention. A breathy, wheezy chuckle comes from her, little hands shuffling her deck. "Oh? Is that so...? But how could be so sure?"
She splays her cards out, gilded with silver trim, as she fans herself with the deck. "Would you like to be entertained..?" she grins toothily, one card pushed out of the fan.
The crowd simmers a bit, as they look between the bluejay lawyer and the outlandish soothsayer. And the teller only seems more interested as the crowd grows in size.
"Grand Magus Mikilos! Good to see you again. That's a very valid point!" The bluejay bobs his head in greeting. He shuffles a bit, moving to glance behind himself at the trailing crow. "You're right! That's a good idea."
He looks at Dirk, "No, of course not. All litigation is legitimate unless the court rules otherwise."
There's a sudden flurry of papers as Jay digs in his briefcase, "Anyone who has suffered from the power of forces beyond the ken of mortal man and the limits of time may eligible for recompense in a class action suit."
"Here, take a form. Here, take my card. Integrity C Truefeather, esquire. The 'C' is for compensation. Take a card." The bluejay hands out cards to everyone that will take them and many who don't.
"Take a form." He notices Crik eyeing his bolas, "don't take those, they're mine."
"Yes. Yes! Yes! I'd like to be entertained." Jay hops in front of the gnome gran, potential tort litigation momentarily forgotten.
Mikilos accepts a card with a smile, slipping it into a pocket with the others. The wizard watches the gnome with professional curiousity, understanding the history and art more than the average layman, but a far cry from a soothsayer.
Culix makes her way into the festival grounds, having heard there's to be some commotion going on today. She spies the crowd gathered around the caravan, with familiar and unfamiliar faces alike in it. She begins ambling over that way.
Being a goblin, she is quite accustomed to her view of such events being constrained to butts and bustles but she's curious, so begins ducking and weaving around and occasionally between legs to see what is going on.
Crik tilts his head towards Jay. His mouth opens in response - but without a word, he trails on after Jay. Litigation or not. Black eyes look around the crowd - but the important part was acting the part. With a head bobbing this way and that, he reaches out his hand for Jay's brief. "I'll hold the case, Esquire." He offers, reaching to grab the briefcase. "Prepare the papers." A brief pause. "Dot the eyes, cross the beyond."
His dark beak opens ajar again, black eyes staring around him in sharp, jutting motions.
As more known individuals make their presence, the chatter of the crowd grows both more still, and energized. And, also, energized from having waivers and cards shoved into their hands. "What /does/ the C stand for?" someone asks, confused as they hold it up to the sun.
The old gnome cackles. "'course ya do," she wheezes out, leaning forward to place a hand upon the orb. It clouds, and she shuffles her deck four times. "Let's see... what's going on in your time of before, now, beyond."
She jabs a finger at the crow egalrin. "Cross the beyond! Bwahaha, yes!" she grins before she draws three cards. One is placed down, and a wrinkled finger flips it over. It's an image of an old man in clerical vestments, the card upside down.
She winces. "Oooh... someone's had a bit of Hypocrisy in their past? Hmm? Maybe some defiance?"
The orb thrums a white hue as she flips over another card. A ruler with a silver scepter, upside down. "And whatever's got ya in a tizzy, you've been avoiding it now, have ya? Sense of powerlessness about it?"
A finger goes to the third card. "Let's see what you'll do about it..." Flip. "Oh!" A card with a tall mage's tower, upright. "But whatever trials you got, lil' birdie, you're gonna change for the better and overcome it."
She grins coyishly.
"Here, hand out these forms." Jay shoves a sheaf of papers into Crik's hands, "I'll hang onto the brief, it has a very complex filing system I wouldn't want disrupted."
Meaning, it's a mess.
"It stands for Credulous" Integrity caws, answering the crowd. He spins to face the elder gnome, granting Culix the rare treat of avian rump and undertail. He arches to talon-tips to better peer at the cards. "I've had a lot of cases. A little hypocrisy is bound to come up!"
Followed by, "Um... no comment on the grounds of self-incrimination. Oh! A tower! That's excellent! Great heights! To reach and jump off!" His feathers fluff.
Mikilos eyes the results and interpretations with interest. "Meanings are a complex thing, shifting from viewpoint to viewpoint."
Culix suddenly finds her path barred by a face-full of feathers and she oofs, leaning back to avoid it. She peers up at the offending Elgarin, and frowns a bit. "Must be multiplying." she muses to herself.
Now near enough to the front to see what's going on, she spies the fortune teller and her mouth forms an o as she realizes what has everyone so interested.
"Must be better than the penny fortunes you get down in trades to be gathering this sorta crowd." she muses to no-one in particular.
The old crone cackles, scooping her cards up and shuffling them once more. "Take it as what ya will, it's 'entertainment' right? Nothing will come of it..." She laughs again, but breaking into a hacking cough.
The one in the crowd goes 'ooooh' as their question is answered.
The soothsayer fans her cards out again, her unseen attention shifting to the others in the crowd. "Lanky boy has the right of it. But, accordin' to tha cards of the past, present, and future, I gots two left. Two years, two decades, two minutes, I dunno what that means, so I ain't got long fore I croak. Caw. Whatever."
She leans forward, her stack of books bowing out of safety standards for structural integrity. "Of course they're better, I'm the one doin' it!" the old gnome raves at the gobbo. "Ya want a readin'? Doin' it fo' free while the caravan's here!"
Crik holds up the papers, looking at them curiously. Letters. Lines. Notes are made on the papers. Peeking at the briefcase, then back towards Jay. Back towards the briefcase. Finally, he moves to hand out the forms. One is given to Mikilos. "One." He holds his beak open. Another is given to Dirk. Extra is passed over to the owl Lulu - which gets a curious tilt. Even Culix gets one with a complimentary stare and a nudge towards Jay, before Crik hops along.
Finally he returns and hands the gnome woman one of the forms as well. "Form. May C. Sincerity. C stands for Conspiracy." Crik tilts his head and lets out a quiet caw. Moment later his eyes are back on that suitcase. Back towards Jay. "Isn't that May's suitcase?" If you don't at first succeed, try again.
Mikilos waits a moment, then steps forward. "I would hear what the cards have to say. Four cuts. One for the Goddess of light magic, Eluna, one for Navos of the grey scales, one for the dark, un-named here, and one for the fallen, Animus." He places a coin on the table. "And silver for good fortune."
Culix suddenly finds a paper in her hands and she blinks at it twice, turning it over. She actually seems to consider for a while. Knowing a solicitor could actually be pretty handy in her line of work. It's folded up and stuffed into a pouch or pocket somewhere on her person.
She peers towards the Gnome, and then shrugs her shoulders, "Free is it? Why not, then." she says, and inches forwards- but Mikilos beats her to it.
She grumbles under her breath, something about 'longshanks' but then leaves him to get his own reading. "I'll go next."
Merek looks between the people there, listening to Mikilos as they make that request. He does seem to be a little curious about what he's asking for, though at the moment he seems to keep to himself, and nods a bit to the people coming by, noting the Egalrin.
"Exactly, towers are great, for mages and egalrin!" The bluejay concurs, then suggests "You should file a motion to make it two centuries."
Integrity shakes his head, "No, it's mine. Mine. Mine! My sister Sissy gave it to me. See? it has her initials on it." He points to a little silver badge with the letters P E T.
He peers at the other corvid, "Are you a paralegal?"
GAME: Crik rolls bluff: (16)+6: 22
Crik stares at Jay for a good moment. Then he straightens to a stance, shifts foot the side, flicks head back up. Feathers are ruffled and wings stretched out just-so. Finally, his hand clutches the side of his robe in a firm, valiant grip. He was posing just as if someone who has never been to a courtroom would imagine a lawyer posing in a courtroom.
"Yes." The corvid egalrin answers. One could question why a paralegal has to carry a dagger and dangling bombs and oddities - but when it comes to matters of law, things can get explosive. "Cray D. Solitude. D stands for Disintegration."
The crone cackles again at the antics playing out before her. "Who knows if the papers will be good in time? We may be gone, gone, gone like the wind...!"
A smile lifts her wrinkly face as the cards pass over the silver coin, it vanishing. "Four cuts, four cuts.." she muses before pulling a card free and points it at Culix. "Don't worry short stuff, you next, Crony Kras sees ya."
Deck shuffled four times. Three cards drawn for Mikilos. Flip. Tower, upright. "Seems like ya've gone through lots, yeah? Us old folk see a lot of change. But what's ya got goin' now? Tower up high? Or.."
Flip. "Damn sonny. You's doin' good right now!" A horse drawn chariot, soaring through the sky, upright. "Things are in your grasp, and you're cruising forward. But will you crash?"
Flip. A painter, drawing an elaborate landscape, reversed. "Ya might. Reaching too far, gettin' greedy. Gotta have it. You've had it good so far, lanky boy. Take care."
She grins, picking her cards back up.
"How many shuffles you want, little un?" she inquires to Culix, the incense wafting across the crowd as the breeze shifts slightly. Her crystal orb shifts to a sky blue hue.
Mikilos nods thoughtfully as he steps back out of the way, not disagreeing with this interpretation.
"Gimme three." Culix says then, eyeballing the deck. She tilts her head as she watches Mikilos pass by, recollection escaping her for the time being but certain she's seen him around at some point.
"An' I tell you what, if you can cut some kinda deal to get luck on my side, just tell me the terms. Need all the luck I can get." she adds.
Jay takes notes, mental notes, liking the cut of this fellow's jib, also his posture and posing. So regal! The l-egal egalrin straightens up. "Nice to meet you Cray D. Solitude. You'll find Dismissal goes over better than Disintegration, but the latter is a good option if you're on the defense. It's hard to prosecute without a body!"
He nudges Mikilos, "Considering your prognostication, if you're interested in updating your will, I work cheap! Cheap!"
"Also I might need another enchantment..."
Crik tilts his head as Jay takes notes. And soon there is an old and weathered looking notepad flipped open, that he claws through. He wasn't actually taking notes. Black eyes look towards the briefcase again. Maybe it would have been easier to just mug the jay.
Eyes spinning back up, his beak opens ajar. Nope. His hands disappear in his robe and after some fumbling around, he pulls out a tiny card. It may have some fresh ink in it, but it looks very nice. Ivory white. Tasteful charcoal tinted with sepia font. The cursive gets a bit messy at the end though. "Card. Squire services for Esquires. Carry briefcases and sort documents." He tilts his head upwards slightly, blinking rapidly. "And read difficult books for witty phrases." Those are things lawyers do, right? "Accept contract?"
Crony Kras, the old crone, hums with a flange as she shuffles her deck of cards. The silver backing on them glinting in the fair sun day. "Three for thee," she mumbles before snickering. "Ain't make deals with Luck, lass. Tapestry will hand ya whatever it gives ya. But! Ya can be more prepared just in case!"
Three drawn. One card placed down with her leaning over so the gobbo could see them easily. Flip. A man caught by the ankle, dangling from an awning, reversed. "Somethin somethin in tha past got ya indecisive. Missed opportunity? Somethin' ya regret?"
Next card. "And for now...". Two figures embracing one another, reversed. "Hrm. Whatever you dealin with now got you in conflict. Disconnected with... somethin'? Not necessarily with someone else, but somethin'."
"Lets see... if fate is.." Flip. A shower of constellations in the night sky. Reversed. Her fuzzy brows furrow. "... now this is... ain't necessarily a bad thing. But ya gonna have ta embrace something new. You'll be tested. It'll be confusing. But ya may end up better for it."
The orb shifts to a green hue, and the old gnome shrugs. "Sorry booger! Keep it at! Luck ain't random, ya know!"
She grabs her cards again, and fans them out once more. "Whichoya kids is next, eh?" she wheezes.
Mikilos snorts softly, but grins and nods. "My estate is recorded by the scribes of House Son'Doriel, but having a local copy with appropriate local laws highlighted would not be a bad idea. Thank you, Esquire Truefeather."
"Oh hanged man, that's a good start..." Culix says as she sees the first of them, but then falls quiet and lets Kras read them out to her. She scratches her chin when it's done, and takes a step back away.
"Well, that... seems about right, all said." she says and shrugs with a sigh. "Told you I ought've cut a deal with the powers that be." she adds before rejoining the crowd and giving folks space to step forwards.
Jay takes the card, "Oh this is nice stock. The ink is very shiny. Where did you get it? It's better than my cards. See?" He hands one of his own back, which magically appears in his fingers, "Come by my office, I'll have a contract drawn up."
The bluejay turns to make short bow towards Mikilos, "I'll drop by tomorrow to notarize a copy and file it with the local registrar. I'll look over some of the local inheritance laws."
He clacks his beak momentarily, "with an emphasis on odd 'adventurer exceptions'. So you won't be declared dead if you're one day late back from a mission."
Integrity looks at Crik, then looks at Culix, stares at her fortune. "Do you sell life insurance? You should try selling her life insurance."
Kras chuckles. "Cut a deal, break a deal, find a deal, don't matter, what come will come, what will, wilt. Just gird yaself, girlie," she sagely advises.
Which then breaks into a hacking cackle. "Yeah! Sure, maybe that'll work! Maybe life insurance'll help! Maybe not! Maybe it'll screw ya more and make it more complicated!" She's having way too much fun with this.
Dirk watches the goings-on with an amused smile. The fortunes do seem to draw the burly old snowbeard interest, and he lumbers on over. "Oy, missus," he says, tipping his tricorne respectfully to the soothsayer. "Could ye read my fortune?"
Merek looks then along to the fortune teller, while he waves to them a bit, "I would like a fortune as well. I don't know, about... Well, any specific thing." He smiles. The Seer seems to always be in his own mind, who knows what he's thinking, while he walks up to the place and waits about a moment.
Mikilos smiles. "They tend to wait longer than a day, but 'missing, presumed but not confirmed dead' is certainly an important clause, as is 'temporarily dead'. That one's come up already."
Crik looks down towards his robes. "Antiques and Press." He smoothly says with his deep, resonant voice. Freshly cut from his notepad. Jay's card is 'fwhipped' out of the air with equal sleight of hand; it's almost as if the corvid's hand didn't move. But lawyers were sneaky like that. "Will." He responds to Jay's offer and knocks back his head in a quiet... rocking motion. Head snapping back, he tilts his head towards Culix, then back towards Jay. Then back towards Culix. Hopping few steps over, he tilts his head over her shoulder. "He looks valuable."
And then just like that, with a flap of his wings, he scoots off the festival grounds.
Crony Kras holds up her little, calloused, wrinkly hands. "Woah woah, alright! One at a time! Lanky boy there's been patient, I'll get ya next," she placates the duo, shuffling her deck five times and drawing three cards.
She turns to Merek, placing one down. "Who knows! It could be anything!" Flip. A depiction of Daeus, holding the sun up high on his back. Upright. "Oh, praise the sun! Ya've been successful in ya past, confident about it? Perhaps enlightenment?"
Next card, present. Place. Flip. "But life's dealt ya somethin' ya gotta wait on. And it's making you antsy. Impatient to correct a imbalance." A figure holding a scale, balancing it with cups of water, reversed.
"And for what is to come of this..." Flip. And old figure, hunched over with a walking stick, with a lantern in the other hand, upright. "...whatever imbalance ya got, ya gotta look within. That enlightenment ya found before, prolly need to seek it again.
Merek nods a bit to the fortune teller, "Thank you!" he says, while he offers a few coins to the woman. Then he nods to Dirk, "Well, I think that's nice. I will need to look into what that means probably!" he says.
Mikilos says, "...drink heavily of cinnamon liquor?"
"You're kidding aren't you? No right-minded insurer would insure me." Culix retorts to Jay over her shoulder. She takes one more glance back towards the fortunes being told, and then fades away into the crowd, disappearing underfoot like goblins are so good at.
The crowd thins out some, a crow and a gobbo leaving, but still some were sticking around. Kras kackles, her card shuffling going over the offered coins as they vanish like before. "Thank you kindly!" she grins to Merek as she turns to Dirk. "Alll right, laddie, what's Tapestry got for ya..?"
Three shuffles. Three cards. One placed. Flip. A loose depiction of the sky and the land, with a figure looping their arms around the scenery. Reversed. "Ya been around. Seen a lot of places. But tha places ya been, ya left something undone. Incomplete."
Next card. Flip. She laughs. A young boy holding an umbrella in the rain, jumping across a puddle. Upright. "But ya startin' somethin' new, ain't ya! On the road again, seeking out new sights ta help fill in what ya had missed before. And that leads to..."
Flip. A woman clutching a gilded book, gaze set skyward with a silver wreath on her head.. Upright. "... and you'll discover something about yourself you ain't known before on your journey. Somethin' will click for you, and you'll be more at peace than before."
"Interesting!" The bluejay says, as the crow flies. He nods once to Culix, splaying his wings a little, "Sometimes they like longshots."
His attention returns to the cards, and the readings. It's actually a few minutes before he connects some thoughts, he stares at Mikilos, "temporarily dead? You've died a few times? Yes! That's definitely important to take into account."
He makes no comment on Merek's, that 'fireball' is the answer for most mages is well known. Dirk's is also met with silence, there's a lot to think about there.
Mikilos nods to Jay, seriously. "Twice went to the Halls of Waiting... AutoCannon to the chest, followed a few seconds later by a Breath of Life, and more recently beheaded by a demon lord. That was harder to fix. And then were the years I was in the Mists of Time with the rest of the city. Presumed dead, but not confirmed. Still get paperwork hiccups from that."
Mikilos blinks, and frowns. "Oh right, was also the time had my skull caved in by a demon monk... that really shouldn't slip my mind..."
"There might have been lingering brain damage. That could be why it slipped your mind. Or maybe a tumor." Jay suggests helpfully.
Mikilos frowns. "It's not a tumor... but might be repressed trauma."
Croney Kras picks up her cards, seeing that all that were interested had participated. They get slid into a deck case, twinkling with silver leaf as she scoops up the crystal ball with a cloth sack. She adds, unhelpfully, "Dang sonny, two-murs of them and Vardama gives ya punch card ta fill out!"
Dirk listens to the fortune being given, his expression thoughtful as he tugs his beard. "Hunh. That's... that's actually fairly true," he muses to himself. "Thank ye, missus." He digs into his coin purse and flicks a silver coin onto her table with his thumb. "Thanks verra kindly!"
"Okay! Okay! You should see a counselor! I can recommend a few good ones. Victim Advocates." Jay says cheerfully. He also mimics Dirk, adding a handful of silver on the gnome's tomes.
His head flicks as he looks around the fairgrounds, "I need to find a tower. You have a tower, right Grand Magus? I need to tell Slix! She'll be impressed."
Without waiting for an answer, he charges off, wings trailing.
Kras passes a hand over the silver coins as she cackles. "Ya welcome, handsome," she grins, the coins gone as she's wrapping up the tablecloth. "And thank ya, thank ya all."
"Well, birdie, it's not just a to-" And he's gone. She's leaning back in a hacking, coughing laughter. "Oh well! I remember when I was a spry hundred and two! I miss that energy!" She hacks and spits off to the side before climbing down her tower of books slowly.
An old, wrinkled hand reaches up, tugs on a rope, and the whole ensemble set up shuts closed.
The incense blows out from an errant wind.

Birds of a Feather
Crik, A hunched over and dark feathered egalrin rogue
A hunched over figure dressed in loose clothes. An open robe wraps around his hunched over pose, with black crow beack and dark eyes looking rapidly around his surroundings from wrapped around hood. His wings were hidden underneath yet another cloak - but at least his black tail was still visible. Usually it was not that easy to hear him approach, since he has wrapped thick paddings around his crow's feet - not to mention the corvid egalrin was quite sneaky as is.
If he were to straighten to a full stand - which he yes, occasionally does - his chest was covered in black leather breastplate, with various trinkets and knives hanging from it. Notably, a very wide dagger was hanging loose by his rib cage in a padded sheath with a quick release button strap. As his wide chest tapers down to his thin hips, leather shorts covered his more sensitive bits. Despite his dark appearance, the egalrin's clothes have geometric decorative shapes - dark red triangles, winded around muddy green circular pattern. Some of them have been patched over the years.
Finally, he is usually found with a small backpack wrapped tight around his back with a rolled up bed roll and other traveling gear - including a foldable shovel and a pickaxe, as well as some rope hanging off the side. Bandit's mask hangs around his neck.
Jay, A perky male Blue Jay with a discerning eye.
Integrity C. Truefeather, esquire and supra-genius is a Blue Jay Egalrin lawyer. He stands tall and proud, sharply looking around for a situation he can jump into and provide counsel. His leather armour is padded and puffed, cut for avian lines, with bolas and a rapier on his belt. He wears a blue lupin on his lapel. His crest is long, ready to pop up at any objectionable thing. He is full of energy, standing and strutting about with style and flourish.
Slixvah, A rust red/white Egalrin covered in veils, ribbons, and shawls.
Average in height, but large in personality, Slixvah is an outrageously decorated Egalrin. Her rusty red and white feathers don't sully her outlandish garb; in fact, it makes it stand out even more. Colorful and plentiful, ribbons adorn her wing joints and arms to make a dazzling display of splendor, especially when those wings stretch out to their twelve foot span. Thick, magnificent feathers fill that massive span, and an entire rainbow of ribbons flutter from her wing spars to accent it all. The red ones are cut to look like feathers.
Loose fitting robes of a multitude of colors rest against her frame while various veils and shawls dangle from different sections of her clothes. One veil even covers her face, but she's quite often pulling it down to give a smiling twinkle in her sky-blue eyes behind her raptor-like beak. A rainbow ribbon is tied around her head like a bandanna, and every second glance it seems like the colors are in different places.
There is usually a white-plumed thrush nestling in one of the many nooks and crannies of her swishy attire.
