You've made it into the tower on the other side of the portal after a whole lot of oddities with directions and more. You've fallen into a room where blood is gathered, from all directions, coming towards you now, coalescing, /moving/...

There was so much of it. So much.

Morgan floats up in the air and move out of what she hopes is its range "I have no idea what it is, but treat it like a golem." with that she says a few arcane words and disapears.

Iskandar raises his bow and fires. The arrow clatters off of an empty space on the floor. Glaring, he pulls another from his quiver, but this one also strikes nothing but the ground. He edges forward so that he's the nearest to the blood-creature. And he braces himself in case the monstrosity lashes out.

Sasha looks very very tired...even as she blsts a hole though the golem. "Lets finish this quick."

Hun'rar moves to the side, sword and shield held aside as he takes a deep breath and unleashes an inferno of red flames across the blood creature. The cheek guards on the helmet are just wide enough to allow him to do so, lighting the inside of his helmet.

A dozen maws form from the blood. With teeth of blood.

Really.

That maw latches onto Serraphine, puncturing her armor and draining her of some of her precious blood in turn.

More maws are forming on the mass as it gathers itself together from the blood present.

Morgan from sounds around she mumbles not liking this thing as a blue streak hits the monster. "Cold does normal dammage... check." She moves off to the side away from where she was.

Kore gets hit hard....so Sasha runs up and puts a glowing hand on Kore's back...closing just about all of her wounds.

Iskandar lowers his bow and closes in. He chambers a fist and punches at the largest mass of blood.

Serraphine steps next to Kore, blinks, then turns back to the blood with the sword in her two-handed grip. There's a grimace and she brings the sword in an overhead slash that cuts deeply, but not before she mutters out, "Serriel be praised, you are an ugly and bloody one." The cut was so good... her hand slipped on the second - backhanded - swing of the blade. "Ack!"

Tentacles of blood lash out from its central mass, lashing around Serraphine, who gets a double dose of them due to her intevening on behalf of the Inquisitor. They bounce harmlesly off Hun'rar and Iskandar's skin in the meantime, though theyh can't seem to find Morgan and Sasha is able to avoid even being noticed as of yet.

The tentacles dig in, piercing skin and... attaching? Where they can. That's not good.

Constantin just starts cutting -- he doesn't like the tentacles, doesn't like animate-blood. One cut is wild, one cut bites deep -- satisfying.

Kore p-auses briefly to flash Serraphine one of those quiet smiles and then she launches into a flrury of devastating blows. The blood parts before her but she seems to be able to p-edict how it will move, lashing out with punishing strikes that hem in the pools of viscous crimson, forcing them to conform to the area she's chosen to attack. The tiny Monk is a blur at this point ,the magic of her boots and years of ascetic training combining to turn her into a whirling frenzy of movement. Surrounded by blood tentacles.

Out from no where three bolts of fire come from no where as two hit it soldly "Ok fire is not as effective." Morgans voice from all around you can be herd.

Iskandar begins to work his way around the monster. He seeks first to defend himself, to ensure his armor or bracers take the brunt of any attack. But when he sees an opening he unleashes a hooking punch.

Serraphine tries to stay near Sasha as she brings her sword back up. The Arvek blinking at the woman as she touches Kore and gives her faint-blue-glowy. A frown creases lower still, "Do you make cookies? Perhaps yours would be better than the other's." A look in Morgan's direction before she swings the sword around in a lateral arc followed by a downward cut. The lateral one leaving a spray of blood behind it.

With all those lashing tentacles of blood, you'd think that the creature would be doing more harm than this, but it isn't. Still, there's something concerning. A feeling of... wrongness in each of you, as if your body is being attacked in some way you can really only sense.

The The vines in Serraphine bury deeper and begin to /absorb/ her blood, its form swelling further with fresh power.

Uh oh...

"It's---- feeding on us. Draining our blood. This thing. It's made of the blood of its victims and- something else. Something horrible." The Monk has actually paused in the midst of her fighting to take a deep breath. She's just a little bit blue in the cheeks, visible even on her gray complexion, and her breathing is heavy and coarse. A brief pause. "We absolutely can't let this continue to exist." Then she's on the offensive once more, knocking aside a tentacle that sought to take advantage of her momentary distraction. That tentacle is splattered with a sudden strike with the blade of a hand, splattering crimson all over the ground... Only to reform. Then she's tearing at it, leaping away from where she'd been standing to go into a punishing aerial assault that has her tangled in scarle. animate fluid-like limbs.
