- Summary: After a rough adventure fighting some ghouls, Skielstregar had caught a disease that has started to rot him from the wound outward. Seeing clerical aid, his goes to his sister, Seyardu, at the Temple of Althea. She takes him to a side room, and with a blessing of the Celestial Mother, removes the disease he's afflicted wtih. They get to talking about their past, as well as if they deserve to know what happened to them with the secrecy of their father and her guardian.
- Temple of Althea, Early Afternoon
Charcoal clouds are being blown westward on this cold day, the sun just starting to fall from its high point in the sky as it casts a shallow shadow into the ever open doors of the temple.
A tall, lumbering figure comes wrapped up in a cloak from head to toe, bits of silver glinting out of their grasp as they hold it closed. There's a wafting scent coming from them of sickness and decay, almost familiar, but also not. Their movements are staggered and stiff, and breath labored. They approach an Althean, their voice hoarse and quiet, subdued. "... Sssseyardu, where isss she?" he requests.
They blink in surprise at their state, able to see under the hood as they bring the cloth of the vestments to block the stench. They point off in a direction before he stiffly bows and heads that way.
The temple of Althea was welcoming to all, no matter what state they were in. Most that worked there did not bat an eye as Skielstregar entered, though there were several concerned looks. At the requests for the cleric though, one of them gestures over to the central oven in the temple, where the cleric was working on doling out meals to those who were late to the lunch time offerings.
She looked up quickly, catching the sight, and scent on the air. Seyardu quickly doffed the apron she had on, and stepped out an around to close the last of the distance.
"Peace on your nest Skielstregar, what is amiss?" She asks, growing immediately concerned.
Skielstregar moves stiffly like a board, though some tension is relieved at the sight of his sibling. "Sister," he sighs out in their native tongue, a hand reaching to rest upon a table to help steady himself.
The scent grew stronger as Seyardu approached, and all that confidence that her brother had been oozing the last time they spoke was gone; back to that meekness and feeling like he was breaking eggshells everytime he took a step. "This one-" he stifles a cough, turning away from the foodstuffs before answering. "This one needs a shaman. They have been bit by something multiple times..."
Underneath the hood shows a creeping color of dying tarnished bronze scales crawling up his neck as he's clutching his gut.
"Peace on your nest," he quietly adds, his head a bit fuzzy at the moment.
Seyardu turns to hold up one hand to those behind her, and a few of the clerics who were around, and one who was also working with the food quickly stepped over, offering prayers to purify the food just in case as Seyardu turned to guide Skielstregar back to one of the rooms.
"This one understands, they are a shaman, and should be able to help. Can you speak more about the creature which bit you, or of how you are feeling? Was it some manner of venomous beast, or something else?" She begins asking quickly as she opens one of the many doors off the main hall, where rooms were set for care of those stopping by, isolated in case of further transmissions.
Skielstregar follows as best he can, putting a hand on Seyardu's shoulder so he could steady himself as she leans him off to one of the side rooms. "This one knows it was ghouls," he answers before doffing the large cloaks once the door was closed.
He's been bandaged expertly and slightly healed, but still sports some injures. Cuts and bites, though they have been cleaned off and bound. Really, under the cloak that was most worrisome was that underneath his shirt, there's a streak of crawling familiar tarnished bronze scales, blackened and flaking.
He's utterly dismayed.
"This one feels... sick and... and stiff," he continues, carefully sitting down on a cot as he pulls his tail tot he side. "This one thinks... thinks a disease of some kind. They are still healing from it..."

"Have a seat please." Seyardu offers firmly, having closed the door behind her, and taking the cloaks to set them down nearby. "It will be alright, I am sure. But, ghouls are dangerous, I am glad you are alright. You should speak to me if there are concerns of undead though, this one can help deal with them. And ghouls near the city are certainly of concern." She states, moving around the room for some time. "It sounds like a disease, it is good you came by here. Many available here or at the soldier's defence are capable of tending to disease. Just allow this one a moment, and they will see what they can do."
"It will be alright, this one promises." Seyardu adds, offering Skielstregar a hug.
Skiel shakes his head. "It is not near the city, it is about half a day's travel away. It has been dealt with, the undead slain and burned."
He sighs, sliding further up on the cot to lay against the wall. Sunlight filtering in from the window scatters light across the walls from his unblemished scales, but the creeping of disease keeps it from being a full display. "This one knows... they came as soon as something was wrong."
He looks at an offending streak of bronze. His head lulling into the hug with a light >plonk<.
"... they just became silver..." he quietly whines, frowning and sagging his shoulders.

"And they will come back when you recover, no doubt." Seyardu chuffs, propping the much larger makari up against the wall as she stops to kneel down by the bed. From the robes she pulls out the small stone statuette of the celestial mother Althea, held in one hand as the other is placed on Skielstregar's chest, where the scales seemed to be in the worst shape.
"Celestial Mother, hear this ones prayers, and allow them to act as a conduit for your power. This child of yours, this ones sibling, was injured in the service of your goals and ideals, protecting those in need from undead. Purify their injuries, ridding the disease which has attempted to take root, so they may recover." She offers in prayer, before taking a step back and off the ground. "There may not be an immediate change, but it should not progress further."
Skiel weakly nods, still a blow taken to his pride regardless of the prognosis. Dead silver eyes slowly close, and the familiar warmth washes over him. It felt somewhat uncomfortable, considering his affliction, but the pang of something wrong felt as if it was gone, but the damage still remained. A long sigh leaves him, and he slides down to lay on the cot properly.
He reaches out, taking hold of one of Seyardu's hands. "Thank you, sister," he rumbles softly. "You are very powerful, and you make this one proud to call you family."
Somewhat relieved now that he wouldn't be turning back into what he looked before, he rests an arm over his eyes. "This one was worried it would all come back again... it would have been worse, but thankfully this one's magics kept the worst at bay."
"And this one is proud to have a brother such as you, Skielstregar. You are brave to stand against the undead such as that." Seyardu chuffs, letting the amulet fall so she could hold the hand into both of hers. "You should tell this one about what you wish, they would be happy to hear more about what you would like to share."
"It would not have happened again." Seyardu adds with a shake of her head. "This one will not let things such as that happen, as long as they are able. That is a promise."
Skielstregar looks off to the side and rubs his neck with his spare hand. "... ah. It was... this one is just glad they were able to keep their friends safe from the undead while they held them back."
His hand gives a light squeeze to Seyardu's. His strength wasn't sapped, but his fingers were stiff and hard to move. "This one knows, and they thank you for it."
A breath. "Right. This one went with many shamans; Telamon, Ravenstongue, Karasu, as well as Vaerm-a," he catches himself, getting a little embarrassed. "Explorer's guild put a job out to see what happened to a town's Gravekeeper. We investigated and found a nearby cave full of ghouls. Apparently he was trying to get his mate back, and went the bad way about doing it. This one isn't sure why his body was buried, this one thought ghouls ate fresh flesh. And the ghast was their mate, this one thinks."
"It was a lot of fighting in a cave with a slick ground. This one used the magic they showed you to keep them safe, as it blocked quite a bit of their bites. But there was a lot, and only so many this one can keep from getting to them." He holds up a bandaged arm. "This one still bears some wounds, but Vaera will heal them again to finish it up. Or, unless you wish to, but, your magic is better suited here for those that really need it. This one just needs rest."
"Oh? Is that a nickname for Vaera?" Seyardu asks, with a raised brow before Skielstregar continued. The continued story did not leave much for levity or teasing. "This one sees, it is saddened that it came to that. Perhaps it could have been prevented, if they were supported better after their death. Or perhaps it could not have been helped." The cleric sighs. "Regardless, it is done, and you all did much good by dealing with these ghouls. Those in the village will sleep better and safer for it."
"You require healing? This one has tended to several already, but it is rare they are overly tired by most day to day needs. It would be no problem to heal, but you are right, and wise. It is no substitute for proper rest, and a hot meal. Both of which will be provided, if you would stay here the night. Though, this one can not keep you here."
Skiel looks to his lap, that tell tale sign of him being embarrassed. "... Vaermiir is her name," he mumbles quietly, rubbing his cheek. "It is sad. But what's done is done. The town is going to cremate their dead for the time being so that nothing will rise for a bit. This one is glad they could help."
He gives a light nod. "This one could use some, but to be honest, after your blessings, this one can sleep and take it easy for the rest of the healing. Vaermiir can tend to the last of it, she doesn't use her magics often. Perhaps a night here will not hurt, just to be sure this one heals properly. They will have to inform the rescale though of this. This one, um, left in a rush from the Fernwood after this one saw and felt their state, told her this one would go to this temple."
GAME: Seyardu rolls 7d6: (25): 25
"It is likely for the best, to allow the village the best chance to recover, and preventing it from happening again." Seyardu nods. She reaches for the holy symbol again, this time with the stone emanating a gentle light, and an equally gently, yet no less potent for it, wave of healing energy. With that, she stows the amulet again, and gives what can only be a smile. "This one did not know you had a keeper, Skielstregar. Though, I understand. You should tell her yourself, if she does not come to this temple in a rush to check on you."
Skiel winces as the healing hits him. It's uncomfortable, and not the kind where wounds suddenly heal. It's almost grating, his face twitching in latent strain, but once it's done, he gives a relaxed sigh. His wounds, for all intents and purposes, were all smoothed over, as what was left was rest. ".. you needn't to have done that, but thank you."
He smiles.
Which promptly goes to his lap. "... well, erm, um... you see.." he waffles some. "Um, this one can, they are still stiff and a bit winded. She is probably searching the markets for some medicines for later."
A bit of silence. "... and... something for the tent."
"That did not look particularly pleasant. Apologies." Seyardu sighs, the reaction being both surprising and concerning. But she does chuckle back quietly. "That does not sound like she would not go looking for you afterwards really. And what is this about the tent, implying it is shared? Did you come to a decision, Skieltregar?"
"This one is partly undead, sister," Skielstregar mentions. "Celestial Mother's light is always welcome, but it is... uncomfortable."
He blinks, then rubs his neck once more. "She is... protective of this one, but she understands you are better suited for this kind of situation."
He glances to Seyardu, then back to his lap. "... what decision? This one told you they have confessed to Vaermiir. The situation has been resolved. But- um- erm-... y... yes. There is only one tent in our camp."
...
"... she is warm..." he mumbles near silently, embarrassed once more.
"Ah, yes. That is, right." Seyardu sighs. "This one wishes they could do more about that, but they are at a loss for now."
"Right, you did tell this one, but not too much more." She continues, perking up just a touch. "You did not say you were sleeping together. That is good, though. This one imagines a bit of warmth does you quite a world of good." They chuckle.
Skiel squeezes in the hand in his before pulling it away to pat the fellow silverscale on the shoulder. "It is what it is. At least they can still be healed by it rather than be torn asunder."
He blinks. "Yes, we are sleeping together."
...
"... n-not like that."
...
"... well actually yes but-"
He buries his face into his hands. "... we are together..." he lamely explains.
"Yes, that is good, that you are not harmed by it." Seyardu agrees. "This one is glad they can still help."
There is a pause, and Seyardu blinks. And blinks again, before bursting into laughter. "Oh, scales, Skielstregar, there is nothing to be ashamed of, is there? This one is glad you found someone who you like as such."
Finally the chuckling died down, and the cleric shakes her head as she grows equally embarassed and happy. "This one ah, this one has a Cihuaa now Skielstregar, It is such a wonderful feeling to refer to Sjach as such."
The laughter makes Skiel grow even more embarrassed, but yet, there's still a slight smile on his face. "No, nothing to be ashamed of," he agrees. "It is just, erm, well- this one likes Vaermiir quite a bit, and this one always finds themselves beside themselves every time the intertest is returned."
But that bit of news made him freeze. And his head snaps over to Seyardu, eyes wide. "Cih- Sja- wh-...!"
It was his turn to blink rapidly. "W-Wha- this one- what? This is.. this is so sudden!"
Despite his weakness from the disease, he easily reaches out, and yanks Seyardu down into a swallowing embrace. "D'awwwwwwww, this is good news! Very good!" he hums happily, rocking the smaller makari back and forth.
"Have a little bit of faith in yourself Skielstregar. If she is willing to share a tent with you, you must be doing something alright." Seyardu chuckles, only for the attention to be shoved back in her direction. "It is not that sudden." Seyardu huffs. "This one has known them since coming to Alexandria, but there has been no ritu-ack!"
The cleric is still small and awkwardly grabbed, ending up in Skielstregar's arms. "It seems you are feeling much better. It is good news though." Seyardu huffs again.
Always the big brother, both in size and coddling. "It's still sudden for this one!" he hums happily, giving his sister one last squeeze before releasing her from the affectionate yet crushing embrace that only a sibling could give. "This one is happy for you! This one is still quite stiff, but that won't stop them!"
His tail flicks back and forth against the other side of the cot, skirting along the ground. "That is really wonderful. This one should talk with Sjach more often then. This one has only been on one outing, and they are quite resourceful."
Seyardu was awkwardly held by her brother, until she was able to settle down with a quiet huff. "Well, this one only found you here recently. This one met Sjach before then." She mumbles once freed from the grip. "But ah, yes, please do! Sjach is nice, and he could use more friends. This one could think of few who would make a better friend than you, too!"
Skielstregar chuckles, nodding some. "If this one runs into them, they will certainly seek him out."
He gives a soft sigh, and rubs at chest where the wound once was. "This one hears quite a lot about you. You are popular, sister," he proudly smiles.
Seyardu has reconnected.
"Please do, they are good to talk to, even if they are quiet. And they are ah-"
The cleric lets herself trail off, and she only grows more embarassed. "This one did not know people were talking about them. This one just attempts to help out people here, as they are able. But it is good that people are reacting positively to their presence." The cleric mumbles.
Skielstreagr warmly snickers, patting the smaller makari on the back. "Worry not, this one is similar with Vaermiir when they get going."
He grins. "Well, when you are doing fiend slaying, resurrecting the dead, healing entire softskin crews on a flying boat, it is hard to not hear such stories being spread."
His fanged smile widens, him chuffing out a gout of frozen air. "... and this one /swore/ they saw a toy that looked like you on the city streets."
"They're very tall, and so strong and dependable." Seyardu mumbles further, before burying her face in her hands for a moment. "I did not heal an entire crew, and so many others did so much more. And the only ones brought back were immediately after." Seyardu huffs.
"That made it onto the street? That is not a toy of me. Or rather, it is a toy of Cryosanthia, in gray fabric rather than white, with different horns put on. This one believes it was made by some business person, for some reason."
Seyardu has partially disconnected.
Skiel rumbles deep, giving a slow nod. "They are, yes. Quite tall. Resourceful. Scales a nice hue~" he teases, elbowing her in the side. "Vaermiir is resourceful as well. Almost as tall as this one. Wise."
"Nonsense. It matters not when, it is still a matter of that it happened. I am proud of you," he warmly mentions. Then, a snort. "They are trying to make some sort of money off of the popularity. This one saw others as well. The Speaker, a few small softskins and some others."
Seyardu huffs, and sits down near Skielstregar on the bed. "I do not know what his scales look like exactly, but they are nice to look at. They are supposed to be green like the forest leaves, but also parts are black like the night sky."
"Though, this one can imagine Vaermiir is. Their scales are nice and bright, yes?"
Letting that pass for the time, Seyardu instead sighs. "It does matter, how long it is. This one, one of their friends and allies needs their companion brought back, and this one offered. But one who is gone longer, is much more difficult to bring back. It should be possible, but this one worries."
Skiel nods, his gaze going a bit unfocused. "Bright and deep, like the soul of a campfire," he quietly murmurs, a thumb rubbing over the red scale on his necklace.
The brother watches her for a moment. Then frowns some. "Sister," he says firmly. "Believe in yourself. You are capable of greatness that this one has only heard in stories. Do not miss the fact that you /can/ do it, no matter how far the time has passed."
He squeezes her shoulder. "You can do it. You are incredible."
"You are right, but it is difficult." The silver cleric sighs, reaching and placing a hand on the one over her shoulder. "It has all been difficult, and it rarely feels there is time to truly relax here at times. Before you came here, this one was barely able to get any sleep from fear of reprisal from those fiends you were speaking of this one slaying. So, this one does not feel particularly accomplished, still."
Skielstregar just stares at her. "... you do not feel accompl-"
His scowl deepens. "Shaman Seyardu of the River Fish Village," he says firmly. "Get the ice out of your eyes and look at what you can do. This one will bonk you atop the head with fish traps of old until you give yourself some credit for your actions that are well deserved."
Skielstregar's attempt to be imposing only caused the cleric to stop and look at Skielstregar strangely. "You are, you do not remember much about home, do you? This one understands, but it is still strange to hear you refer to it as such."
"You are trying to make me feel better, this one appreciates it, Skielstregar. There is credit, yes, but it does not change that this one is constantly worried about tripping over themself and embarassing themself."
Skiel chuffs, rolls his eyes, then rubs the top of her head with one of his large hands. "And none would laugh if you did, instead you would find a flock of folk asking if you are alright. You worry too much, sister," he rumbles.
A light sigh leaves him, and he looks aside. "... no, this one does not remember much. The... transformation-" he winces at the mention, "-shredded most of this one's memories. They remember your warmth, and how this one was protective of you. They remember training with other warriors, and this one was planning on becoming a Warrior of the Dragonfather. But that was cut short. But the... details on other things are... hazy."
"You are probably right." Seyardu sighs. "But, this one wants to make others think more positively about our people. They should not be as hard on themself as they are."
"So, you do not remember much, this one understands. It was not the river fish village, but the village of the mountain's heart." She offers to explain. "This was, this one is sorry they could not remember you as well as they should. They are still unsure of what happened, but a few spoken to believe magic was involved. It is partly why, this one does not know if they should tell father about your return. But they expect they already know. This one has not seen-"
Seyardu stops, and rubs the side of her head for a moment with a strange scent of confusion. "This one's close guardian, and, your old mentor, perhaps? They have not been seen in some time, but they were following me, here."
Skiel nods. "And you are doing wonderful representing us just by being you."
The name of the home village makes him blink, gaze growing unfocused as he looks to a wall. "Village of the Mountain's Heart. That... that sounds... right," he mumbles slowly. He listens further, attention shifting back to Seyardu before-
He blinks twice. Inhales once. "... father? Your close guardian? Is... is this magic keeping your from saying his name? This one does not remember father. Or... perhaps they remember them if this one sees them."
He looks around the room briefly. "... they followed you? Still following you? Why would they do that instead of being known? Why would he not want to see this one-"
His eyes catches his bronze streak, and he goes quiet. "... a few reasons, perhaps..."
"No, it is not some magic stopping from saying their name." Seyardu replies with a long shake of her head. "It is more, apologies, this one should still use names you do not know. It was more, there are times that this one realizes their memory is missing things it should know."
"This one did not know that Razyl spent time teaching you as well. It is all very confusing to realize."
The cleric sighs, and rests the side of her face in a hand. "Razyl, and our father, neither even mentioned your name, or existence at all. It is all so strange, and even more confusing."
Skiel rubs his chin and sighs. "But.. why is it missing, sister?" he asks, looking at her with some worry.
His brows pinch. "Razyl? Father? Close guardian? Are these all the same person?"
"If I knew, it would not be missing so, or so confusing. This one has only recently been able to remember you even existed. The others, I do not know if they forget you, or do not mention by choice for further unknowns." The cleric sighs, closing her eyes and rubbing her head. "No, Razyl was the close guardian. Nest brother of Thalandre, our father. That is why it is strange, for both to not say a word. If this one did know, perhaps they would have gone looking for you, but that is not a good excuse."
Skielstregar rubs the side of his face. "The names... sound... vaguely familiar..." he admits. "But it is hard to tell. Perhaps they... went searching for this one, found them in their... erm, state-" he coughs, "-then perhaps wanted to not worry you too much about this one? You do worry about others quite hard, even over yourself."
He sighs. "But now... this one is... still in that state, but not really."
"They found you and, made me forget everything about you?" Seyardu asks, finally looking around again so she could raise one brow to her brother. "You must admit, that sounds a bit strange in theory, even for something as odd as this."
"But father did always treat this one overly carefully. This one was not allowed to leave home, and they ended up leaving without such permission."
Skiel shrinks some. "... it is strange, but this one was quite close to you, and if you knew about this one's state back then..." he trails a hand off.
His attention goes back to his sister. A chuff, and a smile. "You left without asking? This one vaguely remembers you saying something about them being in Mictlan, so this one assumes they followed you here."
He's quiet for a moment. "... if he's in Mictlan... then why hasn't he talked to this one..." he mentions quietly, fidgeting with his hands.
"Then I would have been distraught, yes. But is it not more distressing to lose all memories, even if they are painful, without any say in the matter? For my own family to act like you never existed?" Seyardu asks, growing more than a touch frustrated and angry. "It makes the choice to leave even easier in hindsight, knowing that my father lied to me without a thought."
The cleric pauses, and sighs. "I do not know if he is in Mictlan still or not. If he is, he has done an excellent job avoiding this one. There is no doubt he knows you are there, and that we know each other. What he is thinking, this one does not know."
Skiel puts a hand as he sighs. "It is just speculation, we've nothing to go off of if that is that case. As that sounds rather... backstabby. And not like something someone that raised us would do."
He shakes his head, and lowers his gaze to his lap. "... oh well," he mumbles, defeated.
Another thought crosses him. "... and what of mother?" he asks, glancing up to his sister. "What of her?"
"It does sound bad, yes." Seyardu sighs. "But I did not wish to live doing nothing due to a chance of being hurt."
Seyardu blinks, then shakes her head in sadness again. "To be honest, this one was hoping you would know more of her. I do not even know her name, father refused to speak of her, and she passed when this one was only two years old."
That fact being told seemingly made something click in his head. His expression falls some. "... right. This one... remembers that. The fact that she passed, this one means."
The man presses his palms into his eyes. "... this one... this one doesn't remember much either... perhaps that is why this one was so close to you back then, they did not want a repeat of mother."
He pauses, and peeks a dead silver eye up at Seyardu. "... every issue we seems to run into circle back to father."
His expression firms. "... we deserve some answers from him," he chuffs, a gout of cold air accenting his assertion.
"It is, it is a possibility. Also perhaps why he was so protective, after everything that happened." The cleric sighs, rubbing at her snout again. "It does seem like it, that he knows something. If all of this happened, he never mentioned you whatsoever, then he does know, at least _something_ about what happened. Of this, this one is nearly certain."
"But I do not know if I want to go back to find answers, even if they were deserved. What if he attempts to keep me back home by force this time, or the answers are worse?"
"What answers could be possibly worse than hiding the truth from us?" Skiel counters, looking a touch exasperated. "If this one committed some sin or transgression, this one would like to rectify it and atone. What if there is other family that we aren't aware of?"
He stares at Seyardu. "... how, in the Dragonfather's name, would he be able to keep you? Sister you are.. you are incredibly powerful. And if you go, this one will go too. And this one's... mate will go with you too more than likely. Who knows, maybe he still lingers in Mictlan."
Energy spent, he sinks into the bed, growl-rumbling. "... tired of being in the dark and only having bits and pieces..."
"I do not know. But I hope you are not at fault, and if you are, then this one does not care." Seyardu growls. "It would be much easier to distance father from my life, after all. But, you are right, this one is not the same as they were before. There is magic to escape effortlessly.Even with you, and your mate, if you would accompany me."
"I do not know if father is in mictlan, but if Razyl is, then we can talk."
"And even if we are not the same as we were before, it still would feel nice to have some sort of... closure, no?" Skiel offers before sighing. "... if Razyl is, then perhaps we can share words. This one feels like there has to be a point where the hatchlings are told things they need to know when they are adults."
His shoulder slacken some and his voice drops quieter. "... this one would like some of their sundered memories back, or at least, some piece of them. Even just a shred of something concrete before being Forgotten would be... nice."
"It would be good to know why, yes. And, of course, for you, as well." Seyardu nods. "This one is not the only one with missing memories, and they could offer what this one is incapable of finding. They should be able to trust this one at this point, no?"
Seyardu reaches over to pat Skielstregar on the shoulder. "You deserve to have those memories, as much as the answers. It is not right to have them taken from you."
Skiel leans into the hand, him reaching up to clasp Seyardu's arm. "Thank you, and of course. This one trusts you wholly," he intones, looking up at her with a light smile. Though, a sigh leaves him, little streams of visibly frozen mist seeping between his teeth. "This one is... going to need some rest soon. They will need to let Vaermiir know they are here for observation," he mumbles, swinging his feet off to the side of the cot. "This one thanks you for all you have done."
"Think nothing of it Skielstregar. This one was happy to help, and happy to be able to talk with you." Seyardu chuckles. "Yes, you do need rest, and this one would be a poor healer if they did not make sure you would rest here."
"Do not worry, I will let her know if I finder that you are here, and give her permission to visit. Not that it would stop her, I feel."
Skiel smiles as he carefully rises to his full height, looming over Seyardu. He reaches out, and envelops her in a tight embrace. "That would be most kind for you to do. Thank you again," he rumbles soft.
Seyardu stops, and accepts the hug readily, rumbling something happily before she pulls away, and steps up on her toes to reach and pat him on the head. "It is only fair, and this one is happy to help. After all, it would be the perfect time to talk to them about their new mate." She chuckles, before heading for the door. "Take care and rest well, Skielstregar. Someone will be by in time with food."
Skielstregar gives a closed eye grin at the pat, him ducking down some so that she could reach easier. But he pauses, then looks to his feet. "... you're going to embarrass this one aren't you..." he sighs before shaking his head, laying back down on the cot. "Thank you. Peace on your nest, sister."
He gives a warm wave.
-End Scene-
