Sith-makar: Omenti
The Sith-Makar are guided by the Memory of Blood within them. It is because of this memory of the guidance of the Keeper Caste that they know who they are. The Memory both magical and spiritual, and found within every Sith-Makar. It is strengthened and celebrated through blood and ritual. Most Sith-Makar are born with blood and body in perfect parallel, but some rare ones are not born so. For them, the Memory of Blood is so unique that it requires them to be a certain way in order to host it, and when they do not match, it brings discord to the spirit and the body. This quality was first noticed by the Shamans, who brought it to the attention of the Keepers.
Those whose Blood Memory does not match their bodies are known by special words amongst the Sith-Makar; usually they do not trouble to translate to the outside world, but the words are based on the belief that the soul is different; shifted to a different way of being, or in some cases partial, or even gifted with a second soul out of necessity for the Memory they contain.
Often the Sith, when speaking in the languages of other races, refer to these conditions simply as 'Those of Twin Scale'. They would be told that their difference has a spiritual purpose; and though it often causes pain and uncertainty, that it is alright that they are who they are, and they need not fear to express themselves as they wish to be instead of how they appear, physically. In truth, they are needed by the Sith-Makar people, in some particular way as others cannot fulfill; their destiny is unique and vital, however they might choose to pursue it. Help is available, both in counseling and support from Shamans and Keepers, and when desired by those of this difference, magical aid to shift their being to match their Blood Memory.
This last is not an immediate process, but one done over time. Before this transformation may be undertaken, the Memories they host are shared among many other sith-makar, that they may be preserved and honored among the People.
