  • Summary: Aryia and Mikilos are hanging around the Pointe, the former lazing about on a roof while the latter is tending to a flock of familiars. A new face appears, a violet-eyed goblin riding upon a ram entering the Pointe. They enthusiastically speak with the elves, introducing themselves at Redleaf, proclaiming to be land's future greatest elven druid! Both shadow and dawn elves share a look before rolling with it, Redleaf coming to Wilderness Pointe to restock on supplies for their ram, Ramy. Small conversations done, the two elves are left to their own devices.

Wilderness Pointe, Midday.

Wilderness Pointe. A vanguard of civilization. The last stop before any kind of settlement beyond in the great woods. It's more a hub of trade than any proper town, known more for it's hunters and stopping point for the Druid Grove and Mictlan, the Sith-makar settlement beyond within the woods.

Today itself is a fair weather day. With a cool breeze wafting through the trees that rustles the leaves, casting shadows from the sun above. The Pointe is busy today, with spring coming in full swing, which means food to trade and barter.

One such soul partaking in the fruits of such labor is a grey skinned elven woman in a green jacket. She's atop the roof to the Wayfarer's Inn, upside down and staring up into the sky behind her shades as she noisily crunches into a green apple. Some errant peels get spat into the dirt below, either not satisfied with the bite, or just getting some of the core out of the way.

Mikilos sits not far from the Inn, a massive book in his hands. A small campfire crackles before the wizard, and a tiny zoo rests around it; dogs and cats and fox and a racoon, and some fuzzy thing that might be a small bear. Most seem to be paying mild attention to the elf, who reads quietly the poems of the book.

A diminutive goblin can be seen ariving at the edge of the settelment, leading a large, grumpy looking Ram around by a rope...or more like trying to. "Ramy!" The green woman whines, pulling on the creatures reigins. "Come on! Ya gots to listen to me!" she tries to encourage. "No one will think I am a great fearsome druid if my companion doesn't listen!" She says, earnestly trying to convince the creature, who is at least twice her size, and probably weighs expontentially more than the tiny druid, to follow her. Instead "Ramy" chooses to nibble on some grass, and ignore his master's plees. "Ugh...come on Ramy! I'll get you an apple when we get into the town....pleeeeeeeaase?"

A long, silver clad grey ear twitches as the elf on the roof leans up to peer across the way.

And a white furred brow rises over silver rimmed shades.

A blink, and they're gone, them already near the tall dawn elf and prodding him on the shoulder. She gives him an amiable enough hello wave, but she points off towards Ramy and their encouraging rider.

Mikilos clears his throat, reading formally from the text.

"Roses are red

Violets are purple

Poems are hard

Nothing rhyms with purple."

The wizard frowns mildly at the book. '...I guess they can't all be winners.'

Starting slightly at the sudden tap on his shoulder, taking a moment before peering in the indicated direction. 'Hrmmm? Oh, a new arrival perhaps? Not anyone I recognize.' <mynsandraal>

The cherry headed goblin seems to give in, letting go of the ram's reigns and sighing. "Ramy, I don't know what to do with ya." She mumbles, dejected. The goblin then ties down the ram to a nearby post and mopes into the village, her pigtails gently bobbing as her purple eyes take in the town. As she spots the two elves, the goblin's spirits seem to instantly raise, eagerly waving both of her hands over her head in a cheery hello.

The mul'neissa woman snorts at the formal reading, her thumbing her nose and shaking her head before shrugging her shoulders up to her jaw.

Properly seen now, the heavily scarred shadow elf reaches up to carefully pull her shades down some. Unsure, she waves back with her half eaten apple.

Mikilos nods, and shrugs back before turning focus to the approaching redhead. "Greetings and salutations. Everything alright?" he inquires, raising his own hand in greeting. The gathered familiars remain lazy lums, napping.

The redheaded gobber gives a rather enthusastic nod as she makes her way over to the two. Her purple eyes seeming to be rather taken by the woman's many scars. "Mhm! Just making my way to get some supplies before going into the wilderness to meditate!" She seemingly boasts. Her pointed ears wiggling a little.

The scarred elf's eyes hold a shimmer to them before they're hidden away behind the shades, lips quirked off to the side as she fusses with her jacket to cover up a bit more.

The question asked, she bobs her head once, her tossing a thumb over her shoulder towards the center of Wilderness Pointe. Almost as if to say, 'it's all over there then.'

Her brows do pinch together, and she points to the gobber while her head tilts to the side. One ear lowering, while the other presses against the side of her head.

Mikilos nods in agreement. "Inn has a range of basic supplies, tough may have to look around if seeking anything fancy. Still, can find all sorts of things if know who to ask. Have a group of students out looking at reagents, I'm here watching the familiars who aren't suits to wander the woods... or aren't trusted... or are just lazy."

Seemingly very greatful for the directions from the two, the gobblin happily grins and gives a big thums up. "Thank you!" She happily chirps, "I just need some apples for my trusty animal companion! Us druids gotta know how to survive off the land! And I am quite good at that!" She boasts again, looking up at Miklos. "I'm Redleaf by the way, the land's future greatest elven druid!" She explains with pride. And yes, she very clearly said "elven" dispite being less than 3 feet tall, and having green skin and quite obviously being in fact, not an elf.

The shades slip down the shadow elf's nose some, her glowing gaze staring blankly at Redleaf. She glances to her fellow elf, gives him her signature 'what the...?' look before turning back to the diminutive... elf.

She glances to her half eaten apple, then holds it out towards Redleaf.

Mikilos pauses a moment, not certain he heard properly. Well, druids shapechange, right? With a shrug, the tall elf clasps his hands and bows formally. "Mikilostravia Abrioudelanarchie Mithralla, Lord of Estranillia, Babysitter of Familiars, Builder Arcane. Though just 'Mikilos' is fine. My companion is Aryia, and her titles not appropriate for polite company. A pleasure to meet you, Druid Redleaf."

Redleaf looks at the apple and shakes her head. "No no! I have money! I can get my own! Also if you want more, I am always happy to trade food in return to listen to a great elf talk about their adventures!" (She seems to have not figured out the mute part despite having a 16 in wisdom...and Intellgence). She then ooohs at Mikilos's long title, realizing she has one too.. "Well met Mikilos, I,Redleaf of the Crisp Autum Wind, defender of all animals big and small, whacker of that which needs whacking and all around general hero of the land, can insist that the pleasure is all mine!" She happily squeaks, her eyes glancing back towars her animal companion who still looks quite grumpy and focused on chewing on some grass, meaning Redleaf has time to keep talking to her two new best friends.

Aryia gives a little wave from the hip as she's introduced by Mikilos, but she can't help but smirk a bit at the mention of titles not fitting of present company.

She puffs her chest out some, emboldened as she points to herself and simply cracks her knuckles.

That must be her title. Or job. Whatever it is.

She deflates some at her offer being turned down, but its brushed aside as she shrugs and half heartedly tosses the remains towards the ram they rode in on.

Mikilos takes a seat on the bench again, scooting over to make room. "Well don't let us keep you from your shopping if you're in a hurry. But if you've time to chat, what brings you to the area?"

Ramy scowls at Aryia for having the gaul to throw something to him and distract him from his grass...but then proceeds to much the apple, which makes Redleaf smirk. "See, he likes you!" She happily chirps. "Oh no I have time, I just need to be able to head out and make camp before it getss too dark. And I am just wandering, making sure people are being good to animals and don't need a good whackin!" She explains, hoisting up a gaint club with a whackin' end that is at least two wizes bigger than her own head. "Ya know, that's my deal as a druid! We protec' the land, and I am gonna be the greastet eleven druid ever!" She says, seeming in the few minutes to have upgraded from "in the land" to "ever". But she just sounds so confident that either the gumption or the adorableness of said confidence hopefully makes it come off as somewhat endeering. "What's your name, miss scary dark and scary?" She asks the mute elf, her purple eyes twinkling with delight.

Aryia meets the scowl with a look of indifference. But a brow does quirk up at the big stick being touted. Her head slowly tilts to the side as she plops down next to Mikilos. Perplexed by the existence of this eccentric gobber.

The question draws a squint, but she shrugs and pops open a pocket on her green jacket. She pulls out a well worn scrap of paper and holds it out towards Redleaf.

It reads in Tradespeak:

'My name is Aryia.'

And she jabs a thumb towards Mikilos.

Mikilos smiles. "Aryia is silent but deadly. I'm the noisy, generally oblivious, but still deadly. Though really depends on the situation, try not to hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it."

"Oh yeeeeah..." Redleaf says, looking at the paper. "MIkilos said that didn't she?" She admits, sheepishly, "Sorry, I got a little too excited, i haven't talked to anyone other than Ramy in a few days!" She explains, her ears wiggling again as she hands back the paper, "Don't say a lot do you? It's ok, I am good at doin' the talkin'!" She says with pride, puffing up her chest, before plopping down to sit on the ground crosslegged, the tiny gobber gently swaying from side to side as she smiles. "Oh don't worry, I only whack those who hurt the animals who can't defend themself!" She promises, putting the club down next to her. "Well, I will also help an animal that is defending itself....and well, if someone attacked me, I would whack 'em....an' well, I guess there are many weird fringe scenarious where someone would need a whackin' but, like I said, NORMALLY, whackin' is reserved for my druid duty."

Aryia bobs her head and takes the paper back, stuffing it back into her pocket. Though, she gestures vaguely towards her throat heavily scarred throat as she opens her mouth.

Lips move, yet, "...".

She just chuckles, a sound that's just her exhaling through her nose. The shadow elf doesn't move to sit, her just shifting her weight to her other foot as she puts a hand on her hip. She eyes the club, gauging the gobber and sizing her up.

Those hands are pretty calloused.

Mikilos nods. "Weird fringe scenarios seem to pop up a lot. Would think it pretty uncommon where the right thing to do is protect a demon, but have done that more than once." The wizard waves vaguely. "Get into all kinds of improbible situations through the Explorers Guild. But, the pay is good, and the officers tend to keep from sending people on jobs they can't handel. Never died on a Guild job... indirect result, but first to admit I was meddeling with dangerous stuff."

RedLeaf ahhs as the shadow elf points to her scared throat. "Gotcha, well like I said I can do the talkin'." The gobber cheerfully explains, her small hand running along the edge of her great club. "I should see about an exlpoeres guild actually.... my coinpurse will need replenishing sometime soon, but I think it's getting to the time that I need to work on my shopping and make sure Ramy gets his exercies." She admits, springing to her feet. "It was nice to meet such wonderful elfs!" She squeaks.

Aryia squints some as Redleaf gets to her feat, but she gives an amiable enough smile (it's just less glaring) and waves from the hip. She snaps off two finger guns towards her, the motion making a little mote of silvery light briefly appear betwixt her fingers.

Mikilos nods, picking up his book again. "If you're ever in need of magic items, just head up the mountain road in the city, look for the giant sword. I run a shop."
